Grayshott Jazz Club Newsletter

Binky’s at FirkinFest

Dear Jazzers,

We have one of those five Tuesday month’s again so the regular last Tuesday in the month session will be next Tuesday 31st October. This month’s attraction, apart from the Demons (back from their exhausting tour of Grayshott – culminating at the Firkin Fest last Friday) will be yours truly. I’ve selected some songs from the 1950’s – a much neglected decade in my opinion and, if you’re in good voice they may stir some distant memories of childhood enabling you to join in with me. I may have some song sheets to hand hmmmm…..

On the 14th November at 8pm we have the wonderful Pocket Orchestra back for their annual concert at the club. This remarkable trio are always special to listen to and I feel privileged as they have asked me to join them for the last set. If you look at this web site – www.fbpocketorchestra.co.uk  you will see just how popular this band is and how lucky we are that they could fit us into their busy schedule. Tickets are on sale at the club, £10 each.

Keep Jazzing
