Grayshott Social Club was formed in 1905 and moved to its present location in 1908, it is sobering to think that just ten years later, at the end of WW1, the Club had lost six of its members to the fighting in Europe. They are commemorated on our Memorial in our entrance and we remember them in recognition of their sacrifices made that we all may live.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
