Jazz Newsletter October 2020

Hello Folks
We had a successful restart to the jazz last month. Our turnout was quite encouraging considering the present Covid conditions. The guys were raring to go and didn’t disappoint with a fine display of jazz recreation.
At the next Jazz Club (27th October) we will be welcoming back Bill who
was off duty last month with a chest infection. He will be presenting his
Dixie Demons for your entertainment.
We are still complying with Covid regulations at the Social Club so those
of you who attended last month will still occupy your own dedicated
places – unless we hear otherwise.
For old (and new) fans the Social Club offer a full range of table-served
drinks at very attractive prices.
As I mentioned before the club is compliant with all Covid regulations:
• Masks or face shields must be worn at all times unless sat down at your table or you are exempted (comfort breaks!)
• Tables are spaced according to social distancing rules
• Jazz starts at 7pm and finishes at 9.30pm as we all have to vacate
the premises by 10pm.
We do have the space to accommodate about another 30 people or so
based on last month’s attendance so spread the word folks.
Keep Jazzing
