November at the Club – Charity Race Night, the Bayonettes, International Rugby and Super Sunday

This November we have plenty going on to get you through the grey damp days. We will be presenting the return of our popular Charity Race Night on Saturday 4th November from 8pm, in addition to being able to have a flutter  on the horse racing there will be a raffle with a flat screen TV as the main prize  – all proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK, entry is free and all members and guests are welcome.

We welcome popular local band the Bayonettes on Friday 17th November from 8.30pm. They are a powerful guitar driven indie rock and roll band with an unstoppable rhythm section, edgy vocals and driving guitars producing a heavyweight modern sound with a hint of 90’s Britpop for good measure, all members and guests are welcome.

Normal coverage of the football season will continue through November with the highlight being Super Sunday on 5th November featuring Spurs v Crystal Palace at midday, Man City v Arsenal at 2:15 and finally Chelsea v Man Utd at 4:30pm.

Rugby fans can heave a sigh of relief as the Autumn Rugby Internationals return. The first game is the Barbarians v All Blacks on the 4th November followed on successive Saturdays by England playing Argentina, Australia and Samoa all at 3pm, all of these games will be shown on our BIG SCREEN with hot pies at half time.
